P.S. Hey Gang, I've volunteered to raise funds for the YMCA this year. It's a great organization that does a lot for the community: they assist children who have difficulties because of family economics; they offer reduced rates for adults who are unable to afford regular memberships so they, too, can exercise; and they have programs for senior citizens as well. I'm sure many of you have had some experience with the Y -- and even that is a service to the community. ;-)

I will be having a raffle at the pool party. Those who bring a donation of $5.00, $10.00, or more will receive a ticket to enter the prize drawing -- one ticket for each $5.00 you donate. Please consider making a tax-free donation and help others in the process. I'd like to think we all lead a life that has many blessings -- including the ability to participate in monthly dinners, pool parties, happy hours, movie nights -- and this is a chance for us to give a little back to others less fortunate.
