JUNE SUPPER GATHERING

Saturday, June 20
7:30 PM
Mi Tierra Latin Fusion
603 W Abram St.; PH: (817) 861-9144

“We are a small, family-owned Latino restaurant located in a precious old house right in the heart of Arlington. We combine Puerto Rican-Cuban specialties with other Latin American cuisines. Our flavors are fresh, exotic and to some people, they are new. We take pride in every dish that we serve, using family recipes every time. And that is done the old fashion way, we cook!

“All of our meats are cleaned, hand cut and marinated in house. All of our seasonings, sauces, spreads and dressings are also prepared in house; all of our desserts - our mariquitas - sorullitos - empanadas - soups - roasted pork for those fabulous Cuban sandwiches - are done in this little house...you get the picture. We also get even more adventurous and offer specials that change every day and are posted on a weekly basis.

“Come and eat some of the many Latin favorites we have in our menu and get to know us by getting to know our food!

“We also love wine, and although we cannot serve it, you are welcome to bring you own or any other alcohol beverage. We'll open it, pour it, and if in the mood, we'll have some too.”

So that I can give the restaurant a guesstimate of the number of men attending, please leave your FIRST NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS in the comment section for this posting. I'll make the arrangements with the restaurant in advance. When you arrive at the restaurant, ask for the ARLINGTON SUPPER CLUB group.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Thursday

Have a 'SOUND Dinner' at Sweet Tomatoes

This Thursday night (06/11/09) we are taking the Memphis Sound to dinner. Sweet Tomatoes of Arlington is the first 'Sound Dinner'. Dinner is on your own (roughly $10), but the restaurant will donate back 15% to the corps! So it's a way to fundraise, hang out with the amazing members and staff of the corps, get some great FRESH food, and fundraise! Won't you have dinner with us?

All you have to do is bring the flyer that is attached with you (if you have problems downloading, email me at director@memphisdrumcorps.org)

The corps will be at the restaurant form 5-5:30, but the fundraiser runs until 8pm, so please forward the flyer to all your friends!
